1. Purpose of the Website

Grandize is a free browser-based marketing simulation, one of a series of educational business games designed for classroom use. The site is offered without charge and without advertising or sponsorship.

2. Privacy Policy

Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum information necessary to operate the website:

Essential cookies required for site functionality
Account information you provide (your email address and password)
Basic technical information tied to your sign-in sessions (such as IP address and browser type), kept for account security and deleted automatically once a sign-in has been unused for 30 days

We do not collect personal data for marketing, advertising, or tracking purposes.

How Information Is Used

Information is used solely to:

Operate and maintain the website
Provide access to user accounts, including verifying your email address and letting you reset a forgotten password
Improve site functionality

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share user data with third parties, other than the service providers we rely on to operate the site itself: Amazon Web Services, which hosts the site and its backups in the United States, and Resend, which sends account emails (such as verification and password-reset messages). They process data only on our behalf, never for their own purposes. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information stored on our systems, including storing passwords in encrypted (hashed) form and never in plain text. However, no online service can guarantee complete security, and use of the site is at your own risk.

How Long We Keep Information

Your account and your games are kept for as long as your account exists.
Sign-in records (the IP address and browser type of each sign-in) are deleted automatically once a sign-in has been unused for 30 days.
When you delete your account, we delete it and all your games straight away. Copies in our nightly backups are deleted within 30 days.

Seeing and Deleting Your Information

Your Account page shows the email address we hold for you, and your Stats page shows your record across the games you’ve played.
You can delete your account at any time from your Account page. You’ll be asked for your password, and your account and all your games are deleted immediately.
If you can’t sign in, or want to ask about anything else we hold, email privacy@integer.school.

Students, Schools and Instructors

An instructor or school may ask students to use this website as part of a course. When they do, information about a student’s use of the site — their account email address and their game results — may form part of the student’s education records under the U.S. Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). For that information, we act on the school’s behalf: we use it only to provide the website for the course, we don’t sell it or use it for advertising, we don’t disclose it to anyone except the service providers named above or as the law requires, and we delete it when the school asks. Schools and instructors can ask to review or delete a student’s information by emailing privacy@integer.school.

Children

This website isn’t intended for children, and you must be 16 or older to create an account. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 16 — and in particular from children under 13, which the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) restricts. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 16, we’ll delete it. Parents or guardians who think their child has created an account can email privacy@integer.school.

This website uses only essential cookies necessary for basic operation, such as:

Maintaining your sign-in session

We do not use:

Marketing cookies
Advertising cookies
Behavioral tracking cookies

You may disable cookies in your browser settings, but doing so will prevent the website from functioning, since a sign-in session cannot be maintained without one.

Your browser also remembers two display preferences you choose — how wide the Guide panel is, and whether pop-up messages stay on screen until you close them. They’re stored only in your browser and never sent to us.

4. Terms of Service

Eligibility and Use

The website is provided “as is” and “as available.”
You agree to use the site only for lawful purposes.
Access to the site is voluntary and at your own risk.

Accounts

User accounts are owned by Integer School LLC.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account at any time, for any reason, without notice.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

Game Data

The simulations you play — including any “cash,” “prices,” or “ad spend” — are not real financial transactions, carry no monetary value, and create no real ownership or obligation of any kind.
We may reset, remove, or reconstruct game data at any time without notice.

5. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

By using this website, you expressly agree that:

Integer School LLC, its owners, officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from your use of the site.
You absolve and release Integer School LLC from all claims, liabilities, or losses related to the website or its content.

The website provides an educational simulation only and does not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or suitability for any purpose.

6. Intellectual Property

All website content, branding, and materials are owned by Integer School LLC or its licensors unless otherwise stated. Unauthorized reproduction or redistribution is prohibited.

We may update this policy at any time. Continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
